The instructions of the Organizing and Scientific Committees of the Ninth Congress of the Spanish Society of Community Nutrition (SENC) to be held in Cadiz from 7 to 10 November 2012, we inform you that the deadline for Abstract submission has been extended until next June 30, 2012.

We also take this message to inform the new key dates of the conference:

June 30: Deadline for sending communications.
July 18: Results of the evaluation of abstracts.
Not required to pay registration to the acceptance of communication by the Scientific Committee retained the right to pay reduced rate.
July 30: Deadline for reduced registration fee.

Awards:
- A prize and two second prizes for the best oral communications.
- A prize and two runners to the best communications in poster format.
- Two awards for best papers presented by nurses, sponsored by the College of Nursing Excellency Cadiz.

The winning submissions will have the option to be published in the Spanish Journal of Community Nutrition or special monograph that may arise with the relevant contents of Congress.

Photography exhibition:
- Applications are invited congressmen to a photo exhibition on themes and motifs FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION food-SENC, 2012

The photo exhibition is planned in the grounds of the Candelaria Bastion in the space of bunkers overlooking the sea (7-10 November 2012)

Features of the photographs:
-Original.
-Size 18x24, matte print, mounted on black cardboard.
-Sending mounted on cardboard with original title of the photo at the bottom of the cardboard to the Technical Secretariat before September 10, 2012. On the back of the cardboard to print legibly, name, surname of the author and mobile phone number.

-Are provided three prizes for the best photographs at the discretion of the organizing committee.
-The winning photos, if desired by the author, may be published throughout 2013 in the Journal of Healthy Diet
-The photographs will be withdrawn by the authors of the exhibition panels on the morning of Saturday November 10, 2012.
